“Many people from underrepresented backgrounds feel as though we do not belong in political spaces. Patchwork tries to teach young people that you have just as much right as anyone else, and that source of discomfort can be transformed into a source of unique strength.”
Patchwork and My Life My Say (MLMS) held a reception kindly hosted by PwC which saw over 200 young people sign up to the event in the space of 12 hours. Our guests of honour Beth Gardiner (Journalist, New York Times) and Matthew Mulley (former political advisor at the US Embassy) provided insight on what the state of affairs was in the US and what could be expected from the new President of the United States.
